I've been a petroleum lab tech for almost 30 years. It has given me the chance to indulge myself in two of many passions, science and to be able to interact with many different types of people. Both I still enjoy to this day.

A good friend told me once that I reminded her of a cat, always landing on my feet. You will rarely if ever hear me use the words, can't, never, or quit.

I'm very loyal to those I care about. The saying "I'm behind you 100% for me means, I'll stand in front and take the bullet." To my knowledge, I've only broken a promise once in my life, and it the chief reason most of us are here.

I've been told that I'm compassionate, generous, and a good listener and feel that I'm a fairly complete person. I find though, I need to love and be loved to feel genuinely whole. That may come off as being overly mushy and while I treasure the people I've met, I'm after all not looking for just a fishing partner. Even though that would be a great place to start.

For me, the single most important thing I would look for in someone I would want to spend my life with, is straightforwardness. If this sounds like you, feel free to write.
