You could call me the strong silent type, but I know how to carry on a good conversation. I have a very gentle, soft spoken voice. Relaxed, and sort of perpetually tired. I'm looking to make some new friends or date to see where things go--friend or otherwise, locality is a must. I prefer shorter girls, usually with darker skin. But that's not a must. Most important is that I'm looking for someone with whom I can have an intelligent conversation without worrying whether or not she can understand me.

I am normally on the quiet side until I get to know someone better, but sometimes I can just open up to someone more easily. I enjoy cooking, but I fail. Going out to eat is nice, maybe before seeing a movie, or just renting (or downloading...) some DVD�s and snuggling on the couch.

I am the caring, passionate type, who still believes in romance. I like playing video/board games, but, when it comes to the emotional variety, I prefer my drama on a tv or movie screen. I enjoy holding hands or walking arm in arm while out and about. I want someone I can show my affection for, freely.

I'm either look for a serious relationship or close friendship with someone who shares many of the same values as me, meaning she doesn't smoke and drinks only occasionally, at most. She enjoys humor and laughing, but shouldn't make a joke out of everything. She shouldn't mind when I go over to her house in the middle of the night just to cuddle. She enjoys receiving compliments, but shouldn't require them all the time--I want it to be special.

As for a career, for all you shallow folk, I'll either be going into a career of graphic design or the more ambitious field of Artificial Intelligence and cognitive science. Either way it will involve computers.
